Mosques of the world Project

A photographic exploration of some of the world’s most beautiful and famous mosques, with the goal of creating a photographic exhibition, and eventually a Book to be published internationally. 

The project will encompass 30 primary mosques in 20 counties, with an additional 48-60 secondary mosques in an additional 5 countries

The goal is to create an archive of documentary/artistic photographs to be displayed in exhibition and to be published in a book.

The study will include:

1.      Interior and exterior shots, both wide and zoomed shots

2.      Day and night shots

3.      Daily life shots

4.      Research into the architecture and history of each of the sites.

5.      Relevant timelines of each region in relation to Islam.
